Common Brushtail Possums were regular nightly visitors to the tree platform. They raided it for food scraps and went through rubbish bags to get it. The Western Ringtail Possum is a threatened species that also inhabited the bushland there but they were not to be seen in the tree platform as they are a shy species who mainly eat leaves from trees. Perhaps they also have more manners than the Brushtail possums! They're so cute, aren't they! Thanks to John Vukovich for this film that is also at WAforests on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/user/WAforests#g/a
